Dust you are, and to dust you shall return.

Death is the truth of life which cannot be denied because whatever is born must face the end.

Funeral Services

In the book of Genesis, God spoke these profound words to humanity, "Dust you are, and to dust you shall return." Death is the truth of life which cannot be denied because whatever is born must face the end.

Losing a loved one is one of life's greatest challenges, and at Heaven of Life Episcopal Church Foundation, we understand the importance of Each funeral service as a personalized tribute to the life of your loved one. We believe that every life is precious and deserving of honor and remembrance.

Our compassionate pastors and staff work with families to support a service that reflects the unique personality, values, and faith of the departed soul and ensures that their memory is taken with dignity and love.

We are here to walk alongside you during this difficult time, offering comfort, guidance, and the assurance of God's love and presence. Together, let us honor the memory of those we have lost and find hope in the promise of eternal life.

Funeral Process

Complete Process of Funeral

Life is a blend of joys and sorrows. The journey of life ends with death. One who is born must die one day. The main objective of a funeral service is to pray for the soul of the deceased and to provide support to the grieving family. The funeral service is typically led by a pastor. A funeral service includes funeral hymns, sermons about the funeral and music.

01

Preparing The Departed Body

Preparing a dead body for the last darshan is a serious and deeply personal process, often carried out by family members themselves. During this ritual, the dead body is given a final bath and it is wrapped in a white cloth and placed in the coffin. After the body is placed in the casket, a prayer is offered by the pastor of the church and the journey to the cemetery begins. Through this ritual, they give their last farewell to their departed loved ones.

02

Burial

After the funeral service, the body is buried in a cemetery based on the family's preference. In this ritual, the body is buried in the grave where family and friends pay tribute to the deceased. Burials include various cultural or religious ceremonies, such as prayers for the deceased, reading verses from the Holy Bible, and placing flowers or other memorials on graves.
